Hello Parents,
Please read this email fully as there are a lot of important upcoming events!
- Sign your child in and out every day using the sheets above the fish tank.
- Please arrive by 6:00pm to pick up your child. Give extra time due to construction!
- If you have to speak with your child’s teacher, please try to do so at lunch 11:30-12:30, before school or after school. It is not always possible to have a discussion during class time.
The Preschool/Kindergarten classrooms are planting seeds, studying flags and learning about different festivals around the world, including Cinco de Mayo today. Ask them about it!
Mother’s Night: This a special evening for moms to come to school with their child. Teachers have some special events planned. You don’t want to miss it. See the dates below for each class:
Tuesday, May 9 6:00 pm Mother’s Night- Cedar Room
Wednesday, May 10 6:00 pm Mother’s Night- Pine Room
Thursday, May 11 6:00 pm Mother’s Night- Maple Room
For students who participate in JS Juniors Dance, please remember there is an end of the year recital on Monday May 22 at 5:30 at school. **This is not for the whole school, just those who are signed up and pay for dance classes**
End of the Year Recital: Friday May 26 6:00 pm Walled Lake Central High School
Our Toddlers, preschoolers and Kindergartners have been working on their performances for our end of the year recital. Come see your child sing and dance!
Students should arrive at 5:30. Some performances will require a simple costume or outfit. Your child’s teacher will let you know by note or email if you need anything special. School closes at 3:00 this day!
End of the Year Picnic: Friday June 16 9:00am-12:00pm Heritage Park Farmington Hills
Please come with your family and join us for a family picnic. Pack a lunch and blanket and we will meet at the pavillion. There are a lot of fun activities including a splash pad! School is closed this day.
Summer Camp starts Monday June 19:
Please complete your summer camp form as soon as possible. During summer, you register week by week. On the bottom half of the registration, you will circle the days you are coming and then write the tuition amount in the blank box to the right. The fees already include the themes. There is no extra charge except when we have an in-house field trip like a magician, for example.
Fall Registration:
Please secure your spot for the Academic Year (September 5, 2017- June 15, 2018). For current families, we are offering a 2.5% discount if you register by June 1.
