It’s hard to believe it’s mid-May already! This newsletter has a lot of information. Please read carefully and completely!
We have been using Yahoo for our email lists. It is not very efficient as it limits the number of emails on group lists and it is not set up for a business. Then we began a subscription email service, but have found not everyone has signed up! We apologize if anyone is not getting emails. There is good news! We have recently purchased a new software system that is designed just for preschools! It is called Sandbox and we are very excited to implement it for summer camp. It integrates billing, email, child information and more! You will be able to log in and see your balance, print statements, send the school notes and more. We will even have a digital check-in/check-out station instead of paper sign ins. Those of you signed up for Summer Camp will receive an email very soon with instructions on how to sign up. Until then, we are blasting this information every way we can– email, website newsletter, text and signs on the door! We apologize if you receive this multiple times. It will all be fixed with Sandbox!

The end of the year picnic is Friday June 16 from 9:00am-12:00pm. SCHOOL IS CLOSED ALL DAY FOR ALL STUDENTS. Please meet us at Heritage Park. 24915 Farmington Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48336. Bring your own picnic lunch and a blanket. We will meet under the pavillion. There is a splash pad, so children can bring their swim suits.
Summer Camp starts Monday June 19. If you are not registered, please do so asap. Current families should only need a Tuition and Enrollment Contract.
Fall Registration is open. Remember, current families will receive a 2.5% discount on their tuition if you register by June 1. This is a significant savings as our prices are increasing for the fall. This keeps your tuition at virtually the same price as this year (or lower if you were paying weekly). Please take advantage of this discount and turn in your Tuition and Enrollment Contract with your $80 registration fee asap. The fees below have already had the 2.5% discount applied.
- Bring sunscreen if you want your child to have it applied in the afternoon. We ask that you apply it in the morning. We will need a medication form filled out.
- The Maple Room, Pine Room and Toddler Room are nut free. Please do not send anything with nuts or anything processed in a facility with nuts. We cannot allow your child to eat it and they will be served an alternate meal.
- Sign up for hot lunch if your child will need it! We get many phone calls AFTER we order pizza or teachers cannot find a lunch box and the child is not signed up for hot lunch making it very confusing! Sign up for lunch when you sign in your child!
- With all the local construction, we understand it’s difficult to get to school by 6:00pm. Please give yourself extra time and if you will arrive after 6:00, please call ahead and let us know. The rate for arriving after 6:00pm is $1/minute/child. This is payable directly to the teacher caring for your child.

Ms. Sue is giving a silent presentation on making cheese tacos. This is a Practical Life work that teaches an actual skill (food preparation) as well as teaching students order, concentration, coordination and independence. And don’t forget math skills! Each child had to measure correct amounts of ingredients!
