We had a great week learning about living and non living things, the parts of the leaves, food prep, and water work!  We are all getting the ground rules down, and we are seeing more smiles and less tears 🙂  Next week we will be learning about the Solar System and the life cycle of the frog.
We started the Scholastic book orders for the school. This is a great way to get your child excited about reading. Their prices are great and we earn FREE books for the school, so I wanted to share that with you. Here is how you can order:

Follow the instructions to place your order online by: Oct. 6th
2. Check off the books you want to order for your child and return this flyer to me with a check to Scholastic Book Clubs by Oct. 6th.
Don’t forget to sign up if you would like to attend the Erwin’s Apple Orchard outing. Â If you can not make it, please sign NO on the sign up sheets on your child’s classroom door.
