Maple Room News

March 29, 2017

THIS MONTH:  This month we have been learning all about the continent of Europe.  There is so much history and geography to learn and we are having a great time.

We are also exploring land forms (island, lake, isthmus, strait, peninsula, gulf, etc.)  This is very fun for the children and we often tell them that they could teach their parents some of these!  So, please ask them all about it!

    • Maple Room: Wednesday 8 from 6:00-7:00pm

LUNCH:

To facilitate our busy lunch time, please follow these rules when dropping off your child:

  1. If your child’s lunch will need to be reheated, please drop your child’s lunch box off at the kitchen.
  2. If your child’s lunch does not need to be reheated, please drop your child’s lunch off in the classroom
  3. If you are signing your child up for hot lunch: Please see our menu on the bulletin board.  We can only offer the lunch that is posted for that day.  For example, do not write chicken nuggets next to your child’s name on pancake day!  We don’t always have different days’ options at the school.
  4. Please do not use aluminum foil in your child’s lunch box. It cannot go in the microwave and we do not always have another container to use.  Pack your child’s lunch in the container in which it will be heated up.
