Toddler Parents:  We are asking you to complete your Summer Registration form as soon as possible to secure your spot.  We will be opening registration up to everyone on April 14.  At that time, we will accept students on a first come- first served basis.  Additionally, if you know you are not coming for summer, please let the office know.  Be sure to let us know if you will be returning in the Fall!  The form for summer is below or you can pick one up in the office.

Our Valentine’s party went well- the children enjoyed spreading fudge on their Rice Krispie Treat along with fruit as their morning snack.  It was a day full of fun and excitement.

POTTY TRAINING!!- Believe it or not, 18 months is the best time to start potty training.  So, once they reach 18 months, please send at least 6 pair of underwear to school.  We will still use pullups/diapers so send them as well.  Don’t forget to send extra outfits as well!

Toddler Parents: This week the toddlers were busy!  They continued to dance, sing and work with the Montessori materials.  They even got to play with fresh snow!  This was a highlight as they all loved to explore with snow inside!  They used cups, spoons, trays and their hands.

Please excuse the mistake about last week’s lunch email.  Continue to bring your child’s lunch directly to the Toddler classroom!

Please Label Everything!!!

Toddler Parents: Please continue to label all food and drink with your child’s name, the contents (what is the food or drink) and the date. This is a rule that we are required to follow by State Licensing.  Please help us out by labeling all of your child’s food and drink.

It may be easier to buy labels that you can feed through your printer.  Type your child’s name and leave a space for contents and date.  See the example below.

To facilitate our busy lunch time, please follow these rules when dropping off your child:

  1. If your child’s lunch will need to be reheated, please drop your child’s lunch box off at the kitchen.
  2. If your child’s lunch does not need to be reheated, please drop your child’s lunch off in the classroom
  3. If you are signing your child up for hot lunch: Please see our menu on the bulletin board.  We can only offer the lunch that is posted for that day.  For example, do not write chicken nuggets next to your child’s name on pancake day!  We don’t always have different days’ options at the school.
  4. Please do not use aluminum foil in your child’s lunch box. It cannot go in the microwave and we do not always have another container to use.  Pack your child’s lunch in the container in which it will be heated up.

Have a great weekend!
